While traveling across the country looking for his father, a teenage boy, Nick, takes a job guarding the mysterious and beautiful Limberlost Forest. When Nick discovers that a friend is part of a gang stealing trees from the forest, his friend threatens to expose Nick’s own involvement in the crime. Nick must find the courage to face his fear of exposure and do what he knows is right.
